Sunday,
It has been such a productive, social, and wonderful weekend. Started out a little shaky wasn't feeling so well on Friday. I think I was just really tired and feeling a little under the weather. Such a wonderful husband. Eric knew I was feeling a bit run down and bought me a gift card to Charming Charlies a really cute jewelry place. Went to a house warming party that night. A younger crowd with a margarita machine and some fun drinking games. Well ok they were fun to watch. I didn't have a margarita but Eric made me one hell of a virgin margarita. Lots of hands on the belly trying to feel Owen kick. Kind of funny he gets stage fright. Finally getting used to Eric and my hands. Saturday Eric painted the nursery and did the most amazing job. He really took his time and gave it a fathers touch. I cleaned some serious house and I tell you it needed it. Got to catch up with some friends that we don't ever get to see because they have a new baby. Their little girl is so beautiful and growing so fast. It was great to hang out and have dinner with them. Can't wait to do baby play dates with Crystal and Bella. Today groceries, last little cleaning things, and relaxing. We also got some pictures from Hawaii that a girl took for us and she did such a great job. You have to check them out.

Thursday,

So today I am officially 23 weeks pregnant and going into my sixth month of pregnancy. I only have two kids today so I am taking them on a field trip to go shopping with me.

Last night Eric and I finished one of the walls I am not sure that I totally like it. Eric wanted Owens name straight but I wanted it a little up and down. It is so funny that you can see our personalities come out in decorating.

Tuesday,

Well I am really starting to show now and I love it. Owen is kicking like crazy and doing little flips over and over again. I love feeling him move. I am feeling really really good, physically, emotionally, and about the baby. I am hoping that the rest of the pregnancy goes as fast as the second trimester has gone. Thursday we will be in month six at 23 weeks. For those who don't know Owen is a big baby. He was measuring at 23 weeks last week at 22 weeks. His arms and legs are long just like is daddy. We have had three sonograms in the last month checking for the cysts that were found on Owen's brain. The one on the left side went away and the one on he right was still there. However, none of the doctors are worried about it. They both think that it will go away. In the mean time Owen is moving and grooving in my belly.

Eric and I are starting to get the nursery ready. All the furniture is put together with the exception of the rocking chair. We will have that today. I think that Eric will put the paint on the wall this weekend and then it is just putting up all the decor on the wall. So excited!!!!

This is going to be a busy week. We are watching two of my kids tomorrow night, volleyball for Eric on , a house warming party, and BBQ with some friends. We feel so social this week. Kind of nice.

Eric is doing well. Work is working out well for him and he seems to be very very happy. Eric has been working so hard to help me get everything ready for Owen's big entrance into our world. We are both so very happy.

The preschool is going well. We did addition today and they are doing great at it. I think some of them get it and some of them don't but it is a big concept for three and four year olds. They are all so funny lately. Today one of them closed the door when her mother left and I said alright lets party she said yes and swung her arm around say who who who who. so freaking funny. It is so fun to watch the kids personalities grow. I can't wait to see how Owen will be.

Tuesday,

All is going well. Owen is moving and grooving which makes me very happy. I love that I can feel him moving around. Our last ultrasound went well. I don't remember if I posted the outcome of the last ultrasound. Last Thursday we had a level two ultrasound that was to relook at Owens brain. He had two cysts when we went in to find out if he was a boy or girl. At this ultrasound we found that one cyst had gone away and the other cyst is still there. The doctor said that it will either go away, stay and not cause any problems, or it could be a marker for down syndrome which is only a 1 and 7000 chance of that. I have ultrasound number 5 on Thursday. I guess they want to see if it has shrunk. I will update pictures if we get any. We did get a DVD of the last ultrasound. I am so very very happy.

This past weekend we put all the baby furniture together and Eric was going to do the painting but he ended up falling into a cactus and was totally out of it. I will post the pictures of the furniture and the paint as soon as I can. I will post more on Thursday about the ultrasound and the baby furniture plus paint.

Tuesday,

Well I know that we may be way ahead of schedule for getting things for the baby but we are trying to spread everything out. So, we ordered or baby furniture last night. We really love it. It is called Hartford Straight Back Crib. If you would like to see just google Hartford Straight Back Crib and click on the JC Penny's link. We got the changing table and dresser also. All in a coffee color. All or our friends want to give us things and we are taking some stuff but because it is our first baby we are really excited to get some things new. We decided last night not to buy any of the bedding stuff for the baby but to leave it on the registry and wait till after the baby showers.
I am a little nervous this week because we have our level two sonogram to check out the baby's brain on Thursday. I can't wait because I was told these sonograms are really awesome but at the same time I am scared because I want everything to be ok. I know that he is alive and moving because I feel him I just hope everything is ok with his brain. Also I forgot to tell everyone that Eric got to feel Owen for the first time last week, and we can see him move from the outside. It is so cool and I am loving every minute of it. I am finally enjoying the pregnancy and this second trimester is just flying by. I should be just starting my 20th week however when we went in for the last sonogram the baby was measuring 19 weeks so I am about the start week 21 on Thursday. I guess we will see what the sonogram tells us on Thursday because every time we go in the due date moves up. It has changed from the 22nd to the 16th of September. Hey I am not complaining.
Eric is doing great. His work is going through some major changes and I think it will work out for the better for him. I picked up another child my first little boy. He is much younger then everyone else but he is such a good kid and so darn cute.

Saturday,

I have so much to post. We are back from Hawaii and so glad to be home. I will say that I know that I have the most amazing life because I was ready to come home and leave a beautiful place like Hawaii. Hawaii was fun and chaotic all at the same time. Eric and I have never been on a vacation with other people so to not have any alone time is very different for us. However we had beach time, we took a snorkeling tour and got to see dolphins and deep sea fish. We saw waterfalls, volcano's, botanical gardens, and lava flowing into the ocean. It was all amazing. Or friends that got married had a beautiful wedding with fire dancers, hula dancers, and an amazing ceremony on the beach during sunset.

I never got a chance to put Owen's name plate on here. I am going to post the name plate, his Hawaiian shirt, and his first outfit.
