Monday,

We went on our first family vacation this past weekend, it went great. We had beach time, we went to the Texas State Aquarium, uss Lexington, a Hooks baseball game and the Botanical Gardens. It was a very relaxing vacation as relaxing as a vacation with two kiddos can be.

We had a great vacation and have been thrown back into reality. We spent two hours as the doctor today. Owen has a sinus infection and a double ear infection. Luckly he is a happy sick kid.

Sunday,

It has been a wonderful weekend. Friday we took the boys swimming at the gym and a nice dinner out together. Saturday Eric finally got back on his road bike and I got my butt kicked in a total conditioning class. Did a little shopping to get ready for our trip to the coast. Saturday evening the kids had a baby sitter while Eric and I went out to a friends birthday party. It was great to catch up with some of our friends. Today we started family breakfast day. I made waffles for the first time. Owen drank orange juice from a big boy cup. He did great. Met up with some friends and their little girl to swim at the gym. The kids had a great time and all the parents took turns going on the water slides. Makes you feel like a kid again. With some beautiful weather we decided to eat out on the deck. Eric grilled for us and Owen ate corn off the cob like a big boy. He is just growing up so fast. He is at the stage where he wants to do everything on his own. He would rather eat an apple whole instead of me cutting it up. He is starting to say "No" all the time and "Mine." I think this is a stage and from what I have gathered it isn't going to be over anytime soon. He has also been playing with Jack a lot. Tonight he was playing with his toy dishes. He had a spoon and bowl and was pretending to feed Jack. It was really cute except that I think Jack was so confused that he wasn't getting any food on the spoon. We got the boys or rather Owen a wined up fish that you put in the water and it swims. The boys both loved it. Jack kept trying to grab it and Owen kept telling him "No." So funny!!

Thursday,

In case anyone doesn't know, Owen is in a mother's day out school. It has been great for everyone. The teacher says Owen is doing great and that she can't believe he is only 18 months old. Today they had a parent child picnic lunch. We all made it, even Eric took off for lunch, to come eat with Owen. Owen had his first ice cream sandwich and he loved it.

We were going to swim with Owen but the water was a little to cold and Jack has an ear infection. Didn't think it would be a great idea. Jack and I just hung out on the 1980's tie dye sleeping bag. Quebert kept a close eye on us.

We are summer ready!!

Monday,

It was a great week last week and an even better weekend. So nice to get to just hang with the family at home.

What a wonderful weekend. Owen had his fair share of Easter egg hunts this past weekend. We visited all my families.
