It has been a busy week and a half. I haven't had the time to update the blog because we have been out of town in Dallas on business with Eric.
Eric started off the trip by going to the Texas vs OU game. On Sunday we were going to go to the second Rangers game but it was rained out so Eric's parents watched Owen for us and we went to dinner for our 4 yr anniversary. It was a great evening together. On Monday Eric had work in the morning and then Eric, his dad and I headed out to the Ranger's second game of the ALCS. Eric's mom was so nice to take off work and watch Owen for us. The game was amazing and I have posted some pictures below. Tuesday and Wednesday Eric worked really long days.
Owen had a rough week and a half as he was teething, going through a growth spurt and in a different place. However, he was a trooper and we did a lot of fun stuff with Eric's parents. We visited the park and went for morning walks everyday. We went swimming one day but the weather was rainy most of the time, much needed rain. Tuesday Eric's dad took Owen and I to North Park mall walk around and see the sculptures, water fountains, and the pond with ducks and turtles. Owen loved the pond and almost fell in. Wednesday we headed out to the Arboretum. The place was amazing and Marc took some amazing pictures of Owen in the pumpkin patch. These pictures are also posted below.
Had a doctors appointment yesterday and all is going well with Jack!! I am officially at 35 weeks and ready to meet the new addition to our family.
Today we went out to Gruene for market days and to take some pregnancy pictures. Like father like son because Eric took some really great pictures for us to remember Jack's pregnancy.
We have two more weeks and then we have another sonogram to make sure all is going well. After that it is anybodies guess but it could be any day.
Below are just some random fun pictures of Owen.
Owen getting ready for the Big Game!!
Ok so I got this chair out to get ready for Jack and I guess Owen is reliving the early months of life. Also he is reading a dictionary or at least turning the pages.
Such a big boy in is daddy's boots. He has a lot of growing to do but no hurry.
