I have not updated my blog in a while. Today I am officially 33 weeks pregnant, 7 weeks left. I am getting so excited and scared and anxious all at the same time. I am also starting to feel so exhausted all the time. I just feel like my body can't recover. I guess this is part of caring a baby in the third trimester.
I had a wonderful baby shower this past weekend. We got lots for great stuff for baby Owen. Grandpa Ohnheiser, Honey and Great Grandma Ohnheiser got to come celebrate the coming of baby Owen. Also Grandma and Grandpa Barta and Uncle Alan also got to celebrate with us. It was a great shower. The girls that threw the baby shower, Diane, Kate, Crystal and Candice, did an amazing job. Everything was beautiful and went so smoothly. I had a great time and it seemed like everyone else had a great time also. I will post pictures as soon as I get them in. Eric's dad was gracious enough to take some really great pictures at the shower. I think that we will get them when they return from China in like two weeks.
Eric's family stayed the weekend with us, we celebrated Mr. Barta's birthday and Eric and Alan's birthday. Eric turned 29 on Monday. We had a great dinner on Saturday and a wonderful day in Fredricksburg on Sunday. Good times at the Barta house.
We had a doctors appointment yesterday and all is well. I am not dilating yet but baby Owen is head down and very low. However, with that being said the doc doesn't think that Owen will be early. I am glad about that because Eric has to leave for a business trip coming up. I don't want to go into labor while he is gone. Our doctor showed me how to feel baby Owens head and I did, his head is so little. I just can't wait to see him for the first time.
This weekend we have our second baby class this one is for installing the car seat. The hospital we are delivering at says that we either have to take the class or get the fire department to install the car seat. I figured we need to know what we are doing. Plus all the kid classes are free so we might as well go.

Thursday,
Today I am officially 32 weeks pregnant. Eight weeks to go!! I am so anxious, excited and scared all at the same time. I really can't wait for baby Owen to get here. I am also very excited for baby shower number two. Two days till the shower. Eric's family will be here and so will my dad, step mom, and grandmother. We can't wait to get everyone together to celebrate little Owen. So much cleaning getting ready for this baby shower and for Owen but so worth it. Can't wait to see everyone.

Tuesday,
This weekend was crazy. Friday I started having some pain in my lower stomach and groin area. So after doing some google searches, I called the doctor on duty and he had me come in to the hospital. They tracked my blood pressure and the babies heart beat. We are doing good. Baby Owen is doing great and he is moving around like a little monkey. His room is very fitting. We had our first birthing class on Saturday. It was a good class Eric didn't think he learned much even though I am sure he new nothing about what was going to happen until we took the class. We did decide that we are going to try and do natural birth just because we were both so turned off my the epidural. Of course we will see all may change once we are in the hospital and I am in pain. It is really hard to say without really knowing what you are getting into. Sunday our friends Jennifer, Kevin and there little baby Ayden come to visit us. It was great to get to meet Ayden and Jen gave me a lot of great advise. Eric held little Ayden and was so awkward with him but so cute at the same time.
I have a very busy week this week. Getting ready for my second baby shower how exciting. Eric's parents will be coming in along with my dad, step mom, and grandmother. I can't wait so of course this week is taking forever. I have a ton of cleaning to do. I made a long list and divided everything up into everyday of the week. I got a great start yesterday and of course today I haven't done a thing. I was going to go to Austin tonight to meet up with some really great friends however, it just wasn't going to work out. With the kids, cleaning and work tomorrow I just can't do an evening round trip. I wish we could all meet on the weekend. Staying in touch with friends is so hard to do as life gets more complicated. That is in a good way of course. Well enough about all that. I hope this week will go by fast.

Friday,
Yesterday was officially my 31st week. I am in single digits until little Owen graces us with his presence. We cant wait. I am starting to get a little uneasy as I don't feel like I know what I am getting into. We have a lot of questions to get answered. I am excited because we have our birthing class this weekend. So, hopefully we can get some great answers.

Monday,
What a weekend. We went out Friday night with friends. Its was nice to get out. Saturday was a great day. Eric went on a 40 mile bike ride and I went on a 2 mile walk. We went and did a little Owen shopping. Found a couple of cute outfits for him and of course had to get them. We went swimming at our friends community pool. It was perfect take a dip, lay out and good conversation. Dinner party at friends house. Met some new people they were really nice. Sunday sucked. We did get to sleep in and watched the end of the ranger game from Saturday. They lost. Then we went grocery shopping and all hell broke loose. When we got home from the grocery store I closed my finger in the car door. We spent the next three hours in minor emergency getting xrays and stitches. Owen is moving around but I am still a little worried about him. Eric had to leave on a business trip Sunday afternoon. I was a little more emotional about it then normal. I guess my hormones and being in pain. Cant wait to have little baby Owen. I am thinking I will have an epidural because really I don't want to sit in pain when I don't have too.

Friday,
Yesterday went great. We started the day with two doctors appointments. Eric had blood taken to test his cholesterol, he is doing well it is just a normal physical plus he is going into a surgery or something and has to have a bunch of shots and blood testing before he can go. I had my check up for Owen and I. They did my glucose testing which I don't know the answer to. The doctor informed me that all is well and he will see me back in three weeks. After my next appointment it will be every other week. It was a long visit but short at the same time. We had our first baby shower yesterday at Eric's work with all the people that he works with. It was really really great. I am so grateful for everything that everyone did for us and gave us. I still can't believe how amazing everyone was and how many people where generally happy for us. I may just be overly emotional due to the pregnancy but I am so happy I want to cry at how lucky and blessed that I truly am. After the shower I brought everything home and had a great time going back through it and playing with everything. We went to meet our pediatrician after that and we both loved her. She is going to be great. We did a little shopping after that and had a great time. I also hit my 30 week mark yesterday. I am officially 30 weeks pregnant. I will post some pics.

So glad that today is already Tuesday I am so freaking tired. We had a really productive weekend. Friday we helped our friends move into there new home. We went to the lake on Saturday, had dinner and watched fireworks on Sunday with friends, did a bunch of landscaping, pot planting, and hung outdoor fans on Monday. It was a busy weekend and now I am so tired. Quebert started bleeding while urinating yesterday so Eric and I didn't get any sleep. I kept waking up and checking on him. Took him to the vet this morning. Hopefully will hear from the vet around noon. Almost finished James Patterson's the ninth Judgment. I am not sure what I will read after this one.
Baby Owen has been kicking around like crazy this morning. This is great because I pushed myself a little hard yesterday with the yard work. Lots of pulling, digging, up and down the hill, up and down the stairs, bending and squatting. Got a bit sunburned also. However, I made sure that I didn't get to over heated and I drank lots of water.
So excited about this week because on Thursday we have our next doctor appointment, our first baby shower, and we meet our prenatal doctor. It is really getting closer and I am so happy about that. We can't wait to meet little Owen.

Thursday,
I am officially 29 weeks pregnant, and the tummy keeps growing. Owen is up in my right rib and either kicking or hitting my bladder in the lower left side. He should be around 3 pounds and around 15 to 16 inches long. I really don't know where this little nugget is going to go. The room in my tummy is getting smaller and smaller for little man. I love being pregnant :) so very very happy!!!!
